They have some personal info...where they got it is beyond me...but when calling back, they cannot provide any documentated proof. They wish to get all info over the phone....bad idea! No clear-cut info on this number can be found. If it was a ligitimate companyinvestigation...info on it would be posted.

RECEIVED a number from 404-585-4234 on 311 7:20cst. the person who called me said he was calling from ATT. I knew that the person was lying because it would not come up on the caller ID as private name. when i questioned the person what service they are selling he said none he was calling from att and need to speak with jorge to verify some info. i asked to speak w a supervisor and the person hung up. i tracked the number on the internet and found a website from chile.

i received a call from from this number i did not catch the guys name by he claimed to be calling from att, i work for a 3rd party billing company (ILD) so i know that this was a scam because it would not come up as Unknown caller then the number. when i asked to speak with a supervisor the guy was very rude and hung up i called verizon wireless to get some info about the number but their fraud deparment was closed. i will be filing a complaint with the FCC will also seek to place a complaint on the carrier that is allowing for this FRAUD to take place there is no way that verizon wireless cannot see that they are using the number to defraud people.
