this call could have been a straight up scamfraud or purely a telemarketing call..... but the call went a little something like this.... guy with a accent calls the house claiming he has pre-approved buyers interested in buying my home and as soon as he said that i told him to "f-off" and hung up.... he called back being offended that i told him to "f-off" and tried to give me a speech lesson..... this is a fraudster of some sort... dont pick up this guys call.

BEWARE of these calls. The scam is to have you answer the survey and then to call you back, note that you win a prize for taking part and then get you bank account information. The call I received noted it was an "Air Quality Research Survey". The caller noted that the company doing the research was SPL and the call was from 220-1011 but the caller gave me the number of 778-785-4549 when I asked for a phone number to call back and verify the survey. The check is from P.O. box 871, Amarillo, TX. 79105-0871 the check is from AIG Annuity Insurance Company the letter was from Readers Digest from Pleasantville, NY 10570 the Claim code on the letter was W67-R010. The contact is linda Nickolson said the sweepstakes was held on DEC 29, 2009. Call Centers hours from 7am-6pm Western time.
