Should I File a Complaint?
If you are getting harrassing calls from this number, the answer is yes.
By filing a complaint, you are making the nature of the calls known to more people, including the caller. The more complaints a certain number receives, the more exposure it gets. This helps make the calls stop by reducing the efficiency of the caller's operations. Also, when a certain number receives a lot of complaints, we investigate the matter and report the number to the proper authorities.

Constantly calls from this number...almost 5 times per day. When I get a real person to talk to I have asked them to stop calling and they hang up on me.
I have been receiving calls from this number ever since I got the number from our local provider. I have asked them several times on several different days to put me on the do not call list. Some are nice and say they will and others just hang up.
The caller is automated "Hi this is Scott!" and then a short message about laws for debt reduction changing. Youre given the option to press "1" to have your number removed or "2" to speak to a "live representative". Choice "1" promises to have you removed within 72 hours (still a violation) and then they up their calls from 5 to about a dozen per day. "2" says "please wait while we connect you to a live representative" and then hangs up on you. This is very annoying and Ive logged all calls so I can complete my small claims against them.
Call left message about debt reduction. When I returned call to let them know I did not require their services and to please remove me from their call list they hung up and an hour later I got a call from the same number.
