Charges showed up on our phone bill that we have no idea how they got there. We never used this service.
May 13th directory assistance # showed up on Qwest bill with basic charge of $3.79, admin recovery fee of $0.99 and USF fee of $0.39. Called ILD Teleservices to request credit. They were extremely helpful, have issued full credit and blocked this # from our phone. This is the phone line of a municipal government, probably figured no one would check that closely.
Qwest removed the $5.17 charge and added a 3rd party block against it so it wont show up again
Showed up on my phone bill, never called, dont know anyone in Vegas and dont know this person, landline or #. This needs to be stopped. Who are these people and how are they continuing to get away with this kind of scamming!!!! They need to be stopped NOW!
I line item on my local phone bill appeared for $5.17 for a 1 minute collect call to 702-589-9300. I called the billing company ILD that bills on "Calling 10" behalf for more information. I was told that a phone call was made from my home phone to this number and that "Calling 10" provides nationwide directory assistance. I am very confident that a human did not pick up our phone and dial this number for all of these reasons: 1) We dont use our home phone (its only for 911) 2) We have free directory assistance on our cell phones. 3) We dont use directory assistance. 4) We use the internet for such information. 5) We were not at home - I have the dinner check with time stamp as confirmation. 6) We have no kids. 7) We had no guests of any kind on that day. My only option is to cancel my local land line service. Not really needed anyway.

This number appeared on my Verizon bill for a total of 5.17 for an operator assisted call to Las Vegas. on Feb 13, 2010. I just realized it was the call I got one night and the guy asked a lot of questions trying to get me to switch my cable and phone company he was just phishing and I gave him all the info he needed to scam me. Stupid me!
I got a bill for $7.69 thru MCIILD Teleservices for a call to this number which I didnt place for 1 minute. I am definately going to dispute this as I didnt place it.

This showed on our Verizon bill on my hubbys birthday, and we sure werent around at that time! We use a global calling card for ALL of our calls. Our bill is only ever for the line rental, and that is it.

Charge of $3.79 added to our Verizon bill for a "DIR ASST CHG" we never made. Verizon kindly refunded the charge ILD also put a block on the number.
This company has fraudulently charged by bank checking acct of $14.95 each month and I certainly did NOT approve of this monthly fee. Whenever, I tried calling 1-702-589-9300 an automatic recording will not accept any calls from my cellphone nor from my office - this is a scam to prevent consumers from contacting a live person. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
Bill for $3.79 showed up on my Verizon bill with an unlisted rate and "0" minutes of call. We did not make the call, as the bill states, since all our LD calls (outbound) are made by cell.
We called the phone company. They say it was for 411 directory assistance. $3.79 for directory assistance?

I was billed by Qwest for a call to 702-589-9300, Las Vegas, NV on Dec. 11th, 2009 at 4:35 am, three hours before I woke up. I did not make that call, but was billed 20 cents by Qwest and $5.17 by IDL Teleservices "on behalf of Calling 10."
Verizon bill has charge of $3.79 for this call to Vegas. This is a scam and it should be reported by anyone being charged.

Have no idea who this is and I never answered any such call!
Received phone bill with charges for calls to this number. Was trying to access 877 number. Called ILD number from bill and demanded a credit for the redirected calls and charges incurred. They will send a credit to my phone co in 1-2 billing cycles. Big picture: I unknowingly lent them money and will be repaid in 60 days without interest.

Showed on our Verizon Bill. Shows up as a number from Las Vegas. Charge was $3.79. We called Verizon, they said it is a scam. The number comes across as an 877 number when dialed the person gets connected to an operator (which then charges you the $3.79 plus applicable fees taxes).

received call from supposed collection agency that left a call back number of 800-741-1922. when I called that number a recording played to call number 702-589-9300 for a fee. 800 number can not be called from cell phones. scam company
This number is given out in lieu of an 877 number and you get charged $3.79 when you call it
